Animation with button press

Hey

Is it possible to trigger an animation when a button on gamepad is pressed?

For example when I press Y on my Xbox one controler I want my boxback cover to slide into place. I have the animation setup but not idea how to trigger it with a physical button. Or If it's even possible.
